SYNOPSIS
I See You follows the love stories of three generations of Greek/Australian women, Lena Sarris, daughter Mary and granddaughter Joy.

Lena, a former writer of romance novels turned businesswoman, runs Eros Publishing and leads an affluent lifestyle with beloved dog Jack. A long time widow, her devotion to business, Mary and Joy comes at the expense of romantic love.

Mary, a recently divorced single mother and reluctant manager at Lena's company, struggles to establish her identity outside the world her mother has created. Meanwhile, granddaughter Joy, grapples with her coming of age as she tries to distinguish herself as an artist.

The story begins with Lena asserting her authority among a male dominated board as the fortunes of Eros wane. At the company end of year celebration, Mick Oliver, a well known musician still basking in the heyday of Sunbury 74', rocks into Lena's world.

Her plan to restore Eros to its glory days by returning to writing is undermined by Mary's refusal to succeed her and a hostile board trying to depose her.

Lena's romance with Mick flourishes as she is ousted from the company she founded but when she is diagnosed with breast cancer and loses Jack in the aftermath, she ends the love affair.

Bit by bit, Lena's life unravels, as she sheds her status, public persona and stoic exterior and contemplates suicide. Her despair is interrupted by Mick who casts aside his own fear of commitment to support her unconditionally as she re-examines her purpose and priorities in life.

Unburdened by the weight of status and expectation, Lena liquidates her material possessions and retakes control of Eros but no longer has the desire to lead it and cedes control to her loyal employees.

Lena finds writing again. Her reckoning with her true self and eventual embrace of love is the catalyst for Mary to connect with her own sexuality and for Joy to discover that your first love is usually not your last.
